The twenties in the Soviet Union was an epoch with a unique atmosphere - a grand social experiment which intoxicated world liberal opinion for decades. And in some places this intoxication still persists. However, almost no one remains of those who drank deeply of its poisonous spirit.

Those who honestly chronicle human events, present or past, are a rare and honorable breed. We should certainly ennoble them within the pantheon of our earthly gods. As we do so, we will no doubt include those who, not out of alienation against the West or the United States or its people but out of a thirst for truth, are bringing to light the awful events that followed in the wake of World War II (as well as the enormities that were committed as part of the way in which the war was fought against civilian populations, although that is a subject we won't be exploring here).

That war has been known among Americans as "the good war," and those who fought it as "the greatest generation." But now, slowly, we are hit by the realities so commonplace to a complex human existence: there was much that was not good, and along with the self-sacrifice and high intentions there was much that was venal and brutal. These realities are coming to the surface because there are some scholars, at least, who are aware that an ocean of wartime propaganda spawns a myth that continues for several decades and who have a commitment to truth that overrides the many inducements to conform to the myth.

"Far And Wide" was written in 1951 by Douglas Reed, formerly a foreign correspondent to the London Times.

The author approaches geopolitics in a rambling way, going back to the Civil War and commenting on sporadic events ranging from the Bolshevik revolution, World War II, the Communist takeover of China, the establishment of the state of Israel, and the Korea War.

This arrangement would allow the reader to leisurely plod through the book, but then comes the daunting task of tying these events together in a coherent whole. Although the author makes many incisive comments, the average reader would be overwhelmed by the mental effort of linking super-capitalists with Zionism and Communism. This book does not fully explain that nexus; it is more of an encouragement for further study.

"Anyone who does not want to know in detail about Hitler's half Jewish "alcoholic" father, whom he dragged home from the "ugly, shameful, stinky and smoky bars", (6) and who does not want to know about Hitler's endlessly psychotic hatred toward his kinsmen, will understand little about history of the twentieth century, about the creation of the State of Israel, and about oncoming events which will make us hold our breaths . . ."

Due to a restricted capacity of the Auschwitz crematoria, hundreds of thousands of corpses of murdered victims are said to have been incinerated in fires lit in deep trenches in Auschwitz. This study investigates all the documentary, physical, and anecdotal evidence. Carlo Mattogno shows that the stories about these open air incinerations, although based on a kernel of truth, are vastly exaggerated, and their homicidal background is untrue.

Expert Report on Chemical and Technical Aspects of the "Gas Chambers" of Auschwitz

The so-called Leuchter Report about the alleged gas chambers of Auschwitz and Majdanek has been subject to massive, and partly justified, criticism. Rudolf wrote a thorough forensic study about the alleged gas chambers of Auschwitz which irons out the deficiencies and discrepancies of the Leuchter Report. The Rudolf Report is the first English edition of this sensational scientific work.

Between 1988 and 1991, American expert on execution technologies Fred Leuchter wrote four expert reports addressing the question whether or not the Third Reich operated homicidal gas chambers. The first report on Auschwitz and Majdanek became world famous. This edition republishes all four reports, and accompanies the first one with critical notes and research updates.

Social Psychology, Religious Belief, Censorship and the Holocaust

In the American Humanist magazine Free Inquiry, its Editor, Professor Paul Kurtz, wrote 'We can take nothing for granted: some relatively unknown religious ideology may again sweep the world' (Kurtz, 1994). From a rationalist perspective the disadvantage of religion is that it is capable of facilitating radical social changes which may be undesired. If a religion were to be unrecognized as such it could avoid the modern policy of separating Church and State.
