Joseph McCarthy, as students of the subject know, aroused intense hostility among the Jews because of the extreme number of Jewish communists he exposed. Today, there is a new form of McCarthyism which irritates the Jews just as much as McCarthy used to. It is called Holocaust denial. When McCarthy was in power the Jews screamed that he was defaming innocent men; now the Jews scream that Holocaust Denial is defaming the dead. “Point of order has been replaced by “Point of ‘gas chamber’”. When McCarthy ruled the Jews screamed that he was burning books. Now the Jews demand that Holocaust Denial be burned.
The Jews desperately wanted to shoot down the investigations of Joseph McCarthy. Now the Jews want to shut down forensic investigations of “gas chambers” that never were. McCarthy used to ask: “Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party?” The Jews ask: “Do you now, or have you ever, denied the existence of the ‘gas chambers’”? The position of the inquisitors has been reversed but the modus operandi remains the same. “A Conspiracy So Immense” that it cannot tolerate objective investigation now circles the globe. “There were no communists! There were no communists!” scream the Jews, despite the revelations of the Soviet archives. But “There were ‘gas chambers’! There were ‘gas chambers’”! – or so the Jews say.
The new McCarthyism is everywhere. Inquisitors with Alan Dershowitz style faces prosecute deniers all over the world. There are no Roy Cohn style revisionists to defend them. “The American Jewish Anti Gas Chamber League” does not rush to their defense. First Amendment Rights and civil liberties do not apply to those who “deny the six”. The European Union and the United Nations vote to “condemn” those who “recklessly and irresponsibly” cite the Leuchter, Luftl and Rudolf reports. ”Glad Tydings” everywhere greet the heretics of Holocaust Denial. Holocaust Deniers turn to drink and give impassioned speeches on Internet websites to deaf audiences. Only in Wisconsin does the new McCarthyism still broadcast – but not on the “campus access station” in Madison.
Roy Cohn helped Joe McCarthy prosecute Communists so the analogy that no Roy Cohn-like lawyers come to the defense of holocaust deniers is backwards. In fact, some very good lawyers have come to the defense of revisionists and one famous holocaust denier IS a lawyer. His name is Horst Mahler and his lawyer fiance Sylvia Stoltz defended Ernst Zundel after he was renditioned from Canada to Germany to stand trial. Mahler and Stoltz are currently in prison. Mahler for continuing to publicly express skepticism about the received history of the holocaust and Stoltz simply for defending Zundel. This week in Canada Zundel's old defense team from his Toronto trials, Doug Christie and Barbara Kulazska, succeeded in getting the Canadian 'hate" speech law used to go after holocaust deniers and other enemies of Jews there declared unconstitutional and stricken from the books. This is the third law used to prosecute Zundel that has been challenged and subsequently scuttled by the Canadian government. The first was the "false news" law. The second was the "threat to national security" law. The third is was this last one used by the odious Canadian Human Rights Board to attack
anti-Zionists and holocaust deniers.
