RAMALLAH, Nov. 19 (Agencies) – Zionist forces have raided the West Bank cities of Bethlehem, Qalqilya, Ramallah and al-Khalil, arresting some 14 Palestinians.
The arrests were made during overnight raids early on Wednesday. The latest Zionist incursion was a sequel to Tuesday's raids in which 32 Palestinians were detained.
The detentions came after Zionist outgoing Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Monday promised to free 250 Palestinian prisoners during a meeting with Palestinian Authority Chief Mahmoud Abbas in Jerusalem (al-Quds).
The Zionist army regularly makes arrests during overnight operations in West Bank towns despite a valid security agreement with the Palestinian National Authority (PNA).
The PNA said the Israeli raids are in violation of an agreement agreed upon in first phase of the US-backed Road Map peace plan.
Despite international peace attempts to end the Zionist-Palestinian conflict, the Apartheid regime continues its attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
